Biography
Jim Ryaby, PhD joined Orthofix as Chief Scientific Officer in July 2013 after serving as a consultant to Orthofix. Before joining the Company, Jim served as Vice President of Research and Clinical Affairs for musculoskeletal applications at Mesoblast. He has also held the position of Senior Vice President of Research and Clinical Affairs and Chief Scientific Officer at OrthoLogic Corp in Tempe, AZ where he led the development of the CMF technology for spine fusion and nonunions and the TP508 peptide therapeutic development program in orthopedic and diabetic ulcer applications. Additionally, he has served as Adjunct Professor of Bioengineering at Arizona State University. Jim received his Ph.D. degree in cellular and molecular biology from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, New York.​
