Biography
Timothy Yoon, MD is a fellowship-trained doctor of physical medicine and rehabilitation who specializes in EMG nerve studies. His areas of special interest include: EMG nerve studies Interventional spine care - spine injections Back pain and neck pain treatments Numbness and tingling (neuropathy) treatments Joint pain treatments, including wrist and ankle Dr. Yoon earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed a preliminary medicine internship at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan and his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor. He performed an interventional spine medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Center for Spine Health in Ohio.
Research Interest
Dr. Yoon is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and North American Spine Society. His orthopedic and nerve-related research is published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals.
