Loann Grill

Biography

"Ms. Grill has 39 years of human resources experience. She joined Pace Analytical when it was formed in 1995 and currently serves as Director of Human Resources. In this role, Ms. Grill provides services and acts as a resource for a broad range of activities that make up human resource management including: employment, compensation, employee database maintenance, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and policy/procedure development and implementation. Ms. Grill serves as the Equal Employment Opportunity coordinator and is responsible for managing the Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employment Program within Pace. She possesses a strong working knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations, advising managers on legal implications of HR issues related to discipline and employee grievances. She directs the administration of the employee benefits programs and evaluates additions to ensure competitive programs. During her time at Pace, Ms. Grill has increased human resource efficiency by implementing several online systems. The HR/Payroll internet-based system manages employee data and payroll records. The online benefits enrollment system allows employees company-wide to enroll in their program at their convenience. Plus, an online timekeeping system enables employees to record their time from anywhere they have internet access. The system dramatically reduced the manual entry of employees’ time and increased the accuracy of payroll processing. Ms. Grill is a long time member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). "
