Biography
Dr. Kharitonov has been with Pacira since its founding in 2007, becoming Vice President, Product Development and Technical Services, in 2010. With over 20 years of research and development experience, he contributes strong leadership to the company’s development efforts in the areas of chemistry, manufacturing and controls, with direct responsibility for formulation, process and analytical development and technical support. Dr. Kharitonov has over a decade of experience with commercial manufacturing of complex injectable liposomal drug products, and leads Pacira’s research and development efforts, starting from preclinical studies through product approval.
