Dana Derhake

Biography

Dana Derhake serves as member of Partner Engineering and Science’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors.  Dana, formerly the President of a GIS firm, has provided leadership to the Partner family of companies by implementing best-in-class software and sound financial management. Dana’s role has evolved through many cycles as Partner grew from one office in California to an international consulting firm with over 500 employees.  Most recently, she is focused on Partner’s core mission statement:  to be the best home for talented professionals in our field.   To achieve this goal, she has implemented career management software, a Wellness Program, and works with employees on a one on one basis to solve career and personal issues.   While managing payroll and benefits of three entities - Partner Engineering and Science, Partner Energy, and Partner Telecom - she strives to provide qualify benefits for employees at a reasonable price, in addition to improving employee overall health and well-being.   She recently developed and delivered a best in industry Human Resource Information System which provides employee self-service functionality and benefit administration, as well as custom electronic interfaces with other company systems, benefit carriers, third-party administrators and banks. Partner Engineering and Science is the second company that Dana has started.  The first, SAFE Real Estate, was a geographic information systems (GIS) business that mapped environmental data and natural hazards in the State of California and provided prospective purchasers of real estate with disclosure reports.  Dana served as the President of Safe Real Estate for five years until she sold this business and her GIS database to First American Title Company.
