James C. Mullen

Biography

Mr. James C. Mullen, also known as Jim, has been the Chief Executive Officer of DPx Holdings B.V. since 2014. Mr. Mullen has been the Chief Executive Officer of Patheon Inc. since February 07, 2011. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Patheon N.V. from February 07, 2011 to August 29, 2017. He served as President of Biogen Idec MA Inc. since November 2003 and its Chief Executive Officer since 2000. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Biogen Idec Inc. from November 2003 to June 8, 2010. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Biogen Inc. from 2000 until 2003 and its President from 1999 to 2003. He served as a Chief Operating Officer at Biogen Inc. from 1999 to 2000; its Vice President of International from 1996 to 1999, its Vice President of Operations from 1991 to 1998 and Director, Facilities and Engineering from 1989 to 1992. Prior to joining Biogen in 1989, Mr. Mullen held various positions of responsibility at SmithKline-Beckman Corporation (now GlaxoSmithKline plc) from 1984 to 1988, including Director of Engineering, SmithKline and French Laboratories Worldwide.
