Biography
Olya Eastman is a Consultant at Pedersen & Partners, based in Shanghai. Ms. Eastman is a pioneer in the Executive Search industry in China, starting her career in 1998 in Shanghai for one of the first international Executive Search firms in China. With 17 years of experience in international retained search firms, she also co-founded and led a boutique Greater China Executive Search Company, building Industrial, Consumer and Japanese Client Practices. She led complex recruitment projects for both greenfield operations and completed numerous high-level recruitment assignments for Greater China, North Asia and APAC roles. Originally from Vladivostok, Russia, Olya graduated with a Master’s degree in Japanese Language & History from the Far Eastern State University, later on she obtained a Postgraduate Baccalaureate in Business Administration from Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada. In addition to her native Russian, she speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Japanese
