Biography
Svetlana Iovu is a Research Consultant at Pedersen & Partners based in Chisinau, Moldova. Ms. Iovu joined the firm in 2010 and has held several mid-tier roles, including Research Analyst and Research Associate. Throughout her tenure with Pedersen & Partners, she has worked on senior and middle management searches across CEE. In 2016, Ms. Iovu relocated for several months to Poland, where she focused on talent acquisition assignments for the Polish market. In 2017 she was promoted to Research Consultant and currently focuses on emerging markets mandates. Before joining firm, she worked as a translator for the National Broadcasting Company Teleradio Moldova. Ms. Iovu holds a Master’s degree in Philology from the Ion Creangă Pedagogical University, in Moldova. Apart from her native Romanian, she speaks fluent English and can communicate in Russian, German, and Polish
