Biography

Dr. Zoltan Pierre Arany, is employed as an Associate Professor of Department of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests include: The Arany lab studies cardiovascular metabolism, with a focus on the vasculature and striated muscles. We take a multidisciplinary approach, spanning from molecular biology and numerous ‘omic approaches to mouse models and human genetic and clinical studies. The objective is to make fundamental discoveries about cardiovascular metabolism with an eye to clinical translatation.

Research Interest

The Arany lab studies cardiovascular metabolism, with a focus on the vasculature and striated muscles.
