Biography
Graeme joined the PetroStrat team in February 2014 with five years’ industrial experience. He completed a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences at the University of Leeds (2007) and a M.Sc. in Micropalaeontology at University College London (2008). His Palynology based M.Sc. project focused on improving biostratigraphic resolution around the Jurassic/Triassic boundary at Kuhjoch, Austria, a candidate GSSP section at the time. Graeme worked as a Palynologist for two years in an Aberdeen consultancy, before entering an offshore career as a Mud-Logger then Data Engineer / Unit Manager, working in the southern North Sea and East Africa, where he was involved in a number of casing picks without the presence of a well site geologist. Since joining PetroStrat Graeme has gained experience in Early Cretaceous and Jurassic palynology, stratigraphy and correlation of the North Sea (UK, Norwegian and Danish sectors), Mexico and Ireland.
