Biography
Jennie joined PetroStrat in September 2014 after gaining an M.Sc. in Applied and Petroleum Micropalaeontology from the University of Birmingham. As well as gaining a broad understanding of the application of biostratigraphy and the disciplines involved, Jennie completed her M.Sc. thesis focusing on Middle Miocene Calcareous nannofossils from the Caribbean Sea, in relation to changing climatic perturbations. Since joining PetroStrat Jennie has extended her knowledge of the Neogene with particular focus on the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean (offshore Colombia, Trinidad) as well as South East Asia (Vietnam). She has also broadened her skill set to include the Paleogene of East Africa, Turkey and the Middle East, along with the Late Cretaceous of West and East Africa. Jennie is certified for wellsite duties
