Julien A. Hecht

Biography

Julien A. Hecht joined Pii in 2014 as Vice President and General Counsel. Julien has over 30 years of experience in the practice of law, with over 18 years’ experience in the role of General Counsel. Prior to joining Pii, Julien served as Vice President & General Counsel of DAP Products Inc., an international consumer chemical product manufacturer headquartered in Baltimore, MD. He also was previously a partner and counsel in several prominent Baltimore-based law firms. Julien has wide-ranging experience in corporate, commercial, regulatory, environmental, intellectual property and litigation matters for both mature and start-up companies engaged in manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical and technology-related activities. Julien received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Yale University in 1974, and his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University Of Maryland Francis King Carey School Of Law in 1978, where he was Managing Editor of the Maryland Law Review.

Pii’s comprehensive offerings include drug substance optimization, preformulation testing, dosage form development, CTM manufacturing, commercial manufacturing, clinical packaging and labeling, clinical trial kit building and distribution. These services are complemented by full analytical, regulatory and project management support. Pii develops and manufactures a wide range of dosage forms covering solid, semi-solid, liquid, inhalation and parenteral.
