Biography
Lisa has a diverse background spanning over 20 years in the electro-mechanical, military and medical device design fields. She is a performance focused leader and visionary that drives PharmaSmart’s “Anytime, Anyplace” remote monitoring strategy and she offers a unique blend of executive acumen, solutions development and regulatory compliance expertise to PharmaSmart Int. As EVP, Health Information Technology she has developed world class blood pressure management products, services and patented smart card technology. She has built a responsive Technology Division that consistently delivers results by aligning technology initiatives with business models to develop new products and substantially improve patient monitoring, service, standardization, and business systems performance. Her work has been instrumental in providing PharmaSmart with industry leading remote monitoring and diagnostics, Internet, Database, and Management Reporting capabilities critical to the success of production systems, pharmacy service programs, Electronic Heath Records (EHR) and Personal Health Records (PHR) integrations, and overall company performance. She and her team have effectively brought technological solutions to the forefront in support of PharmaSmart’s core offering of innovative blood pressure monitoring systems and pharmacy services. She is the chief architect to PS DataSmart®, PharmaSmart signature data repository. Lisa is a current member of Canada Health Infoway and sits on the Standards Collaborative Working Group (SCWG2) for Individual Care (Delivery of Care) that focuses on Electronic Health Records, Shared Health Records, Health Summary Records and Chronic Disease Management. She is also actively involved in HL7, which standardizes the protocols and structure for exchanging key sets of health data at the application level, the seventh level of the ISO’s open systems model.
