Biography
Mr. Jay Moorin has been a Founding General Partner, since 1998; Founding Managing Partner and Partner at ProQuest Investments. Mr. Moorin is also an advisor to DPT Capital Management, LLC. From 1991 to 1998, Mr. Moorin served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer at Magainin Pharmaceuticals Inc. During his tenure at Magainin, Mr. Moorin raised over $150 million in private and public capital, oversaw the development of a new technology from initial discovery through clinical research to a New Drug Application with the FDA and forged collaborations with leading pharmaceutical companies such as SmithKline Beecham and Sandoz.
