Biography
Dr Markovitz is a graduate of Claremont Men’s College and the University of Arizona Medical School. He completed his internship at the Tucson Hospitals medical Education Program. His neurology residency was t the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic. After completing his training, Dr Markovitz returned to Phoenix in 1985 to begin his practice with the Cigna Medical Group. He was the section head of Neurology at Cigna Healthcare of Arizona from 1988 to July 2016. Dr Markovitz has a wide range of interests in general adult neurology to include dementia, movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and headache.
