Biography
Kent Hunter came to Hospice of the Piedmont in 2007. He has worked in human resources in various industries throughout his 38-year career. He previously served as Vice President of Human Resources with AMVEST Corporation in Charlottesville. Past president of the Charlottesville/Albemarle Human Resources Association and long-time member of the local and national Society of Human Resources Management Organization, he currently volunteers at the Hospice House, as well as at the Virginia Workforce Center as a one-to-one coach for job-seekers. Mr. Hunter has a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. He is married and has five children and eight grandchildren.
