Biography

    Mr. Robert Steven Altman, Ph.D. serves as the President of Pinnacle Biologics, Inc. and served its Chief Commercial Officer since June 04, 2012. Mr. Altman Founded Marathon Pharmaceuticals, LLC and served as its Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Altman has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations, marketing, and business development, and successfully launched over 20 new products and indications. Mr. Altman served as Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales of Astellas Pharma U.S. from 2004 to 2007. Prior to joining Astellas, Mr. Altman served at Abbott Laboratories in a variety of commercial leadership positions including Vice President of Marketing and Vice President /General Manager of several therapeutic drug franchises for 17 years. Mr. Altman holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Harvard University, and a BS in Chemistry from University of California-Riverside.
