Biography
hris has extensive regulatory experience in medical device and pharmaceuticals. He has GCP certification and in May 2017 Chris received the Paul Queenan Award at the BioScience Academy at Boston University Medical School for Applied Biotechnology. Chris has been a life science executive for over 15 years. He’s been involved in the research, design and launch of cutting edge devices, applications and drug products and services. He co-invented of the Electronic House Call System EHCS for Home care of chronic disease management which cleared the FDA (510K) in 2009 (K090801). The Electronic House Call was licensed by Express MD Solutions, Authentidate Holdings Corporation and recently acquired by iGambit (IGMB). The cloud-based and medical record friendly Electronic House Call monitors the patient at home, taking all their vital signs and collecting subjective data while reminding them to take medications. The system was chosen by the Veterans Administration in their national telehealth program. Chris has also researched, developed and launched a comprehensive wound care system with a first in-class integrated mobile app to capture wound images and make them immediately available in the patient’s medical record. He has filed multiple trademarks and patents and has led multiple licensing joint ventures for products in the software, healthcare device and fuels and fuel additives markets. In addition, Chris created a drug abuse prevention program working with multiple partners to monitor and treat people with addiction. Chris leads regulatory affairs and quality for PixarBio’s NeuroRelease patented formulations of FDA approved biomaterials creating drugs targeting key neurological areas to treat post-surgical pain.
