Edwin U. Keates

Biography

 Dr. Keates has been associated with Polytherapeutics as Medical/Scientific Advisor. Dr. Keates is a prominent and nationally recognized ophthalmic surgeon based in Jenkintown, PA. He has his clinical practice at Northern Ophthalmic Associates, of which he is a founder. During his illustrious medical career, Dr. Keates has held several key hospital and administrative appointments, including Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology, Albert Einstein Medical Center (1969-1995) and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Scheie Eye Institute (1980-Present). He has also served on the Advisory Board and Committees of the FDA. Dr. Keates has consulted extensively with pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the field of ophthalmology. He has been an author or co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.
