Biography
Scott Ungerer, Founder & Managing Director, created EnerTech Capital in 1996 and is a pioneer in energy technology investing. Scott held several positions through his 16 years at the New Jersey-based energy holding company, Atlantic Energy, ultimately rising to President of the non-regulated business units. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Power Survey Ltd., GeoDigital International, N-Dimension Solutions, Inc and Tangent Energy Solutions. He is also a board member of Enbala Power Networks, and the NanoSteel Company. Prior portfolio company experience includes the initial public offerings for Capstone Turbine (NASDAQ: CPST), Pac-West Telecomm (NASDAQ: PACW), VerticalNet (NASDAQ: VERT), Catalytic Solutions (London: CTSU), Intellon (NASDAQ: ITLN), Clean Air Power (London: CAP.L) and Comverge (NASDAQ: COMV), and the acquisitions of CoaLogix, Transportation.com, Coastal Security Systems, Intellon and Extant. Scott focuses on power technologies including smart grid and energy efficiency, natural gas distribution, and transportation technologies. Scott is also a member of the Advisory Board for E-Source. Scott received a BS in mechanical engineering from Princeton University.
