Dan Safier

Biography

Dan is the President and CEO of Prado Group and is responsible for Prado Group's overall Development and Investment Management activities.  His primary focus includes residential, retail and mixed-use properties within high density, in-fill marketplaces.  Prior to forming the Prado Group, Dan was a Principal and Executive Vice President of Prometheus Real Estate Group, Inc. and prior to Prometheus he managed AMB’s International Client Portfolio. Dan is a licensed attorney and a member of the State Bar of California, the Urban Development Mixed-Use Council of the Urban Land Institute, ICSC, and Lambda Alpha International.   He is a Director of the Jim Joseph Foundation, SPUR, and the UC Berkeley Fisher Center Policy Advisory Board.  He is the Chair of the San Francisco Jewish Community Endowment Fund and serves on the Advisory Board for G2 Insurance Services.  Dan received his BA from UC Berkeley and his JD from UC Hastings College of Law.
