Biography
Mr. Scott D. Cook serves as an Advisor at Eight Partners. Mr. Cook Co-Founded Intuit Inc. in 1983. Mr. Cook served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Intuit Inc. from March 1984 to April 1994 and served as its Chairman from February 1993 to July 1998. He managed consulting assignments in banking, services and technology for Bain & Company. He has been an Independent Director at The Procter & Gamble Company since 2000. He has been a Director of Intuit Inc. since March 1984. Mr. Cook serves as a Member Of The Board of Directors of Asia Foundation and Center for Brand and Product Management at the University of Wisconsin; and the Intuit Scholarship Foundation. He served as a Member of Advisory Board at InSight Venture Partners. He served as an Independent Director of eBay Inc. from June 1998 to July 17, 2015. He served as a Director of Broderbund Software, Inc. from April 1993 to December 1994 and again since July 1995. He served as a Director of Amazon.com, Inc. He served on the Board of Visitors of the Harvard Business School Foundation. Mr. Cook studied Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Southern California and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
