Dan Schwanke

Biography

Dan Schwanke, FACHE, is president of ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Prior to his current role, he served as the chief operating officer at ProMedica St. Luke’s Hospital. Schwanke has worked at ProMedica since 1980 in various capacities including president of ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital, executive director of St. Francis Care Center and numerous leadership roles in rehabilitation services at ProMedica Flower Hospital, ProMedica Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital.Schwanke is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Ohio University, a physical therapy certificate from Mayo Clinic and a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Toledo.
