Biography
Daniel Cassavar, MD, FACC, is president and chief medical officer of ProMedica Physicians. In this role, he provides executive oversight for more than 800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Dr. Cassavar is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in interventional cardiology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from John Carroll University and his medical doctorate from The University of Toledo College of Medicine, formerly the Medical College of Ohio. He completed an internship and residency at St. Mary Medical Center of UCLA followed by a fellowship at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers. Dr. Cassavar earned a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Michigan.
