Biography
Dr. Jae Hong Park is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Health Sciences at Purdue University. He was a research associate in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Iowa, where he worked as a postdoctoral research scholar in an Industrial Hygiene Program. He earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University (South Korea). With a background in mechanical engineering, he has chosen to concentrate on aerosol science, exploring the dynamics, synthesis and control of aerosols. His research goals are directed toward controlling aerosols in order to evaluate and improve air quality. He has focused on nanoparticle synthesis and collection for industrial hygiene, toxicology, environmental and health purposes.
