Biography

Mr. S. Wil VanLoh, Jr., is a Co-Founder of Quantum Energy Partners in 1998 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wil VanLoh is a Co-Founder of Quantum Energy Partners I, L.P. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He is a Co-Founder of Quantum Energy Partners III, L.P. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He is a Co-Founder of Quantum Energy Partners IV, L.P. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He is a Co-Founder of Quantum Energy Partners V, L.P. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He co-founded Quantum Energy Partners in 1998 and is responsible for co-managing the Quantum Energy's investment activities, including investment sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring and execution, portfolio company monitoring and transaction exits. He served as the President of Quantum Energy Partners. He leads investment strategy and capital allocation process, working closely with the investment team to ensure its appropriate implementation and execution. He previously served as its President. He co-founded Windrock Capital, Ltd. in 1994. He was employed at Kidder Peabody Group Inc. He served as an Investment Banker at Kidder, Peabody & Co.'s Natural Resources Group and also with NationsBank Corp, where he served on corporate debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions and other highly structured transactions for energy companies. He serves as a Director of a number of Quantum portfolio companies, including Saxet Energy, Ltd., Pointwest Energy Inc., Meritage Energy Partners, LLC, EnSight Energy Partners, LP, Cougar Hydrocarbons Inc., Tri-C Energy, LP and Rockford Energy Partners, LLC. He serves as a Director of Gulf Coast Energy Resources, LLC, Chalker Energy Partners, LP, Denali Oil & Gas Partners, LP, Denali Oil & Gas Partners II, LP, EnergyQuest Resources, LP, Ensight III Energy Partners, LP, Rockford Energy Partners II, LLC and Tri-C Oil & Gas, LP. He serves as a Director of Ute Energy Corporation. He has been a Director of Vantage Energy Inc. since May 2014. He serves as a Member of Board of Managers at Ute Energy, LLC. He serves as Director of Sabretooth Energy Ltd. and Quantum Utility Generation, LLC. He has been a Director of Jagged Peak Energy Inc. since September 2016 and Jagged Peak Energy LLC since April 2013. He serves on the boards of a number of portfolio companies of Quantum Energy Partners, all of which are private energy companies. He served as a Director at QRE GP LLC, the General Partner of QR Energy, LP. He served as a Director of Texoil, Inc. since November 1999. He served as a Director of Link Energy LLC since March 3, 2003. He served as a Director of Tecton Energy, LLC and Northpoint Energy Ltd. He served as Director of Legacy Reserves GP LLC - General Partner at Legacy Reserves Lp from October 2005 to August 1, 2007 and Cequence Energy Ltd. from 2005 to July 2009. He served as a Director at Crown Oil Partners, LP and Parks & Luttrell Energy Partners, LP. He is a Treasurer of the Houston Producers Forum. He holds a B.B.A. Degree in Finance/Bachelor of Science in Finance from Texas Christian University.
