Thomas R. Vetrano

Biography

Mr. Thomas R. Vetrano, also known as Tom, serves as the President and Managing Director of Ramboll Environ, Inc. and served as its Chief Operating Officer and Principal of Newark. Mr. Vetrano serves as Managing Director of Environment & Health of Ramboll Group A/S. He serves as Principal of Newark and Chief Operating Officer of Environ International Corporation. Mr. Vetrano has more than 20 years experience in transactional environmental due diligence; international environmental management; liability assessment and risk management; litigation support; and environmental, health and safety auditing. Mr. Vetrano involves in Environmental, health and safety consulting experience in over 25 countries, including design and management of multinational environmental, health and safety due diligence and compliance auditing programs. Mr. Vetrano conducted over 500 environmental site assessments and due diligence projects throughout North America, including numerous ECRA/ISRA projects, for corporate transactions totaling over $200 billion. He directed environmental liability assessments of over 250 commercial hazardous waste management vendors located in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. He Provided litigation support and expert witness services regarding cost recovery/allocation and lender liability issues. Mr. Vetrano directed facility closure, decommissioning and associated site investigation and remediation activities at large industrial, manufacturing and R & D facilities. He also directed a national environmental assessment and due diligence practice. Mr. Vetrano prepared international corporate environmental, safety and health management standards and policies for Fortune 500 companies and briefed corporate executives on development of environmental management policies, international waste management and international EHS due diligence. Mr. Vetrano holds M.S. in Environmental Engineering/Toxicology, New Jersey Institute of Technology and B.S. in Environmental Studies, Cook College, Rutgers University.
