Biography
Richard R. Yuse is a Raytheon Company vice president and president of Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS). He was appointed to lead SAS in March 2010. Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), with 2016 sales of $24 billion and 63,000 employees, is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions. Raytheon is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts. Before being named president of SAS, Yuse was president of Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) where he guided the business to year-over-year growth and solidified Raytheon’s position as a global leader in training services and mission support for government and commercial customers. He had previously served as RTSC’s vice president and deputy general manager responsible for day-to-day operations, and ensuring operational excellence for the business. Prior to his roles at RTSC, Yuse was vice president of Integrated Air Defense for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS), where he was responsible for all air defense programs within IDS for a variety of domestic and international customers. Before leading Integrated Air Defense, Yuse was vice president of IDS’ Missile Defense business area where he was responsible for programs such as the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) and the Sea-Based X-Band Radar
