Biography
Alissa L. Russ, PhD, is a Research Scientist with the VA Health Services Research and Development (HSR&D) Center for Health Information and Communication in Indianapolis, IN. In addition to her VA position, she holds appointments with Regenstrief Institute and the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice.
Research Interest
she has interests in clinical information systems and medication safety. Her primary research interests include computerized provider order entry (CPOE), computerized decision support for medications (e.g., drug-drug interaction alerts), and understanding how informatics can be improved to enhance patient safety.
