Biography
Dr. Finnell is an associate professor of clinical emergency medicine at Indiana University and a Research Scientist at the Regenstrief Institute. He is the fellowship program director for Clinical Informatics and is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics; His work has spanned numerous professional organizations, with awards recognizing service and academic excellence in both EM and CI. He has presented nationally and locally and has been the receiver of multiple research grants as the primary investigator. His research has led to at least 28 peer reviewed publications.
Research Interest
Dr. JT Finnell’s interests lie in the optimization of emergency care through the application of biomedical informatics principles.
