Biography
Peter H. Schwartz, M.D., Ph.D. is the Interim Director of the IU Center for Bioethics. Dr. Schwartz is an Associate Professor of Medicine at IU School of Medicine and Director of the Bioethics and Subject Advocacy Program of the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI). He is also an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Indiana University – Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI), and practices adult outpatient medicine in the Eskenazi Health System.
Research Interest
He has conducted research on patient decision-making and risk communication in preventive and personalized medicine.
