Biography
Dr. Counsell is a dedicated professor of Medicine.He serves as the Director, in IU Geriatrics Program and in IU-John A. Hartford Foundation Center of Excellence in Geriatric Medicine as well as a Scientist,in IU Center for Aging Research. He acts as the affiliated Scientist, in Regenstrief Institute, Inc.
Research Interest
Dr. Counsell's primary area of research is in the study of hospital and ambulatory care provided to vulnerable elders and the impact of multicomponent interventions on quality of care, functional status, and resource utilization.
