Biography

Dr. Schuyler is a well-respected experienced and accomplished primary care clinician and health care provider, educator, and health care senior executive. His experience spans and is advantaged by his rigorous exposure to private clinical practice, academic medicine, administrative healthcare, and state of the art clinical informatics and clinical intelligence. In his successful and diverse past, Dr. Schuyler has served as the Chief Medical Officer of Readmission Solutions, LLC, a provider of care coordination and management services to health plans, hospitals, and accountable care organizations to better control and reduce clinically avoidable hospital readmissions, the Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of MEDecision, Inc. a provider of collaborative health care information exchange service and care management platforms for numerous health plans and providers, a subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation, the largest customer-owned health insurer in the United States (parent of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas), the Executive Medical Director of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Senior Medical Director and Senior Vice President, Northeast Region, US Healthcare and Aetna, Associate Director, University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey affiliated Family Practice Residency Training Program, and Medical Director and Managing Partner, ImmediCenterTM, LLC, comprehensive primary care, wellness & risk management and immediate care centers. Dr. Schuyler earned his BA from Williams College, Medical Doctorate from Cornell, and post-graduate residency and fellowship degrees from Columbia.
