Biography
David L. Spooner earned his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Pennsylvania State University and his M.S. degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. He has been at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since 1981. He is currently a Professor in the Computer Science Department and Associate Dean of Science for Academic Affairs. His research interests are in the areas of database systems and information security. He is the author of numerous publications in these areas.
