Biography
Dan serves as Chairman of the Board of RH2 and is a water and wastewater project manager who has been with RH2 since 1980. He specializes in the design of water and wastewater pump stations and has led the northwest in the introduction of new pumping technologies and pump station design methods. Dan also specializes in the design of complex municipal infrastructure projects, including pump stations, control systems, and treatment plants. Several of his designs have been patented and are now used as industry-standard practices. Having participated as the lead engineer in a number of large-scale Development Agreements and coordinated planning projects, Dan understands the complex role engineering plays in smart growth, sustainable design, and economic development. He was responsible for the design of the first LEED Silver certified fire station in the US and was instrumental in the preservation of the Park Pointe Open Space on Tiger Mountain, a project that was heralded as one of the most significant environmental preservation projects ever undertaken in King County.
