Biography

Walter R. McElroy, CPA has over 40 years of healthcare experience having held senior management positions in Administration, Finance, Strategic Planning and Development. He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Accounting. For the past 11 years, he has been the Chief Financial Officer for Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates, P.C., an eighteen-physician Rheumatology practice with five locations located in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. He is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Organization of Rheumatology Managers. He previously served on various committees for the State Board of Certified Public Accounts of Louisiana, the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs.
