Biography
"Prof. Cox received the B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University in 1986, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Rochester in 1988 and 1992, respectively. Since then he has been on the faculty in the Computer Science Department at Rice University. His research interests include parallel processing, computer architecture, distributed systems, concurrent programming, and performance evaluation.
