She is Passionate about computer science education at the freshman level and spent 2008-2012 developing and fielding a new course on computational thinking at Rice.ÂÂ

Artificial intelligence, statistical machine learning, natural language processing, algorithms and tools for predictive modeling in engineering and in the natural and social sciences
