Biography
With a proven history of creating and expanding businesses across various facets of the pharmaceutical industry, Vimal is the Director of Aceto Corporation and a member of the executive committee for Rising Pharmaceuticals. A clinical pharmacist by trade, Vimal went on to found Rubin Chemists, a successful independent retail pharmacy business. In 2007, he moved into the oncology and critical care side of generics by co-founding Celon Labs Ltd. before transitioning into pharmaceutical distribution by founding Gen-Source Rx in 2008. After establishing Gen-Source Rx as a leading national distributor of generic pharmaceuticals, Vimal went on to be the CEO and Founder of Citron Pharma LLC and Lucid Pharma LLC in 2014. Vimal is a registered pharmacist in New York State, received a B.S. in pharmacy from HKE College of Pharmacy, Gulbarga, India, in 1989 and also studied pharmaceutics with a specialization in industrial pharmacy at Long Island University Brooklyn.
