Biography
His knowledge includes American Bureau of Shipping and U.S. Coast Guard ship standards; the construction, operation and maintenance of marine power plants, piping, HVAC, electrical, fire protection and marine coatings among others. He worked with the Air Force on the activation of a radar missile tracking system, and he’s been the senior marine engineer in charge of the new Naval Fleet Auxiliary Force. Finally, he was Fleet Life Cycle manager for 34 ships that included fleet oilers, fleet tugs, ammunition ships and hospital ships. David is a Professional Engineer in the District of Columbia, and he is a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and the American Society of Naval Engineers.
