Biography

 Ronald P. Bertone is a Licensed Architect in more than ten states, is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and has been elevated to Fellowship by the American Institute of Architects and the American College of Healthcare Architects. He has over 40 years of experience in all phases of new construction and renovation of a wide range of healthcare projects including hospitals, assisted living residences, Surgi-Centers, MRI and CT suites, skilled nursing facilities, and facilities for mentally and physically challenged children and adults. His clients have included federal and state government agencies, municipalities, and private corporations. In his 25 years as a firm President or Managing Partner, Ron provided architectural services for a wide range of building types including residential condominiums, retail and commercial space, restaurants, animal shelters, and emergency services facilities. Ron was elected as a National Vice President of the American Institute of Architects and as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Fire Protection Association. He has also served on the AIA National Ethics Council and the National AIA Codes & Standards Committee. As a recognized leader in the architectural profession, he has testified before the New York City Council, New Jersey State Assembly, New Jersey Senate, and the U.S. Congress.
