Biography
Mr. David Crompton joined Rotation Medical in 2010 with more than 20 years of intellectual property experience. Previously, Mr. Crompton was a partner in Crompton, Seager and Tufte, LLC, an intellectual property law firm focused on medical technologies. Earlier in his career, he was the Chief IP and General Counsel for Hearing Components, Inc. and also worked with the Chief Patent Counsel of Medtronic. Mr. Crompton drafted and prosecuted domestic patent applications for Merchant and Gould P.A. and was in Manufacturing Engineering for Dow Corning. Mr. Crompton earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan. He is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the State of Minnesota.
