Mr. Hugh B. Vanderbilt Jr. has been Chairman of the Board of R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. since September 19, 2000 and also its Chief Executive Officer since January 1, 1996. Mr. Vanderbilt joined R. T. Vanderbilt Company Inc. at that time as Advertising Manager. He served as Secretary of R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. since 1981 and also served as its Purchasing Manager. Since 1982, he served as Vice Chairman and Vice President of Purchasing of R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. He also served as Vice President of Mining and Manufacturing since 1986, Executive Vice President of Mining and Manufacturing since May 1, 1991 and President & Chief Operating Officer since July 1, 1995 at R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. He has been a Director of R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. since 1982. He Graduated from Rollins College 1978 with B.A. degree in Chemistry and Business.
