Biography
John co-founded Rubicon Genomics in 2000. He spent 23 years as a professor in the Department of Biology and 6 years as chair of the Biophysics Research Division at the University of Michigan. He did his Ph.D. studies at the University of Chicago and postdoctoral studies at the MRC-LMB in Cambridge and Biozentrum in Basel. John has numerous patents and over 40 peer-reviewed publications on DNA, nucleosome, telomere, and chromosome structure.
