Matthew Carroll

Biography

 Matthew joined Rubicon Genomics to lead the Program Management team in 2013 and was promoted to Director of Internal Operations and Bioinformatics in 2014. Matthew joined Rubicon Genomics from NextGen Sciences in Ann Arbor, MI where he led contract research efforts for clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostics landscape to develop quantitative assays for the discovery and qualification of protein biomarkers using multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mass spectrometry. Prior to NextGen, Matthew was a Senior Scientist at Pfizer Inc., where he was involved in early stage research projects in the inflammation and dermatology therapeutic areas. Matthew received his M.S. from the University of Michigan in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. In his spare time, Matthew coaches basketball and soccer and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
