Biography
Mr. James E. Thaxton, also known as Jim, serves as General Counsel and Secretary of Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Mr. Thaxton has been with Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. since 2001. Mr. Thaxton received his B.A. from the University of Dayton, Ohio and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. He has over 15 years experience as a practicing attorney, working in a private legal practice and also a public company. Mr. Thaxton is a member of the American and Ohio Bar Associations and the American Corporate Counsel Association. He is actively involved in his children’s youth sports and his community church. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and guitar building.
