Biography
Osman Ahmed is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Rush Medical College and the Director, Deep Vein Thrombosis Clinic. He did his education in University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. His research areas includes Catheter directed treatment for massive and submassive pulmonary embolism, endovascular treatments for acute and chronic deep vein thrombosis, inferior vena cava filter retrieval, central venous occlusion, cost accounting and analysis in interventional radiology, interventional oncology, uterine fibroid embolization, pelvic venous congestion.
Research Interest
