Jim Hinds

Biography

  Jim Hinds is the firm's Regional Coordinator for Europe, Middle East and Africa and a member of the European Board & CEO Sector and the Consumer Products & Services, Luxury & Retail and Private Equity Practices. He advises global clients on their existing leadership teams and boards and on aligning talent with overall strategy. He recruits Chairmen, CEOs, their leadership teams and non-executive directors. Jim is based in London. Recent Client Experience Jim has led a broad range of searches for PLC CEOs, board members, and senior executives within consumer goods, retail, leisure and private equity-owned organisations, working with the executive leadership teams of some of the world’s most admired consumer organisations. He has also assessed both public and private leadership teams, and conducted pre-acquisition CEO assessments. Previous Experience Prior to his search career, Jim was a managing director at Marakon Associates. Jim has more than 10 years of general management and marketing experience with Gillette, Wyeth and Astra Zeneca. He also successfully led a venture-capital-backed consumer startup.​ Additional Professional Activities Jim has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the Make-A-Wish Foundation U.K. Education Jim received a B.A. with honours in Economics from the University of Manchester and an M.B.A. from IMD Business School.
