Biography
Jon Martin leads the firm’s global Mining & Metal Practice and is a core member of the global Industrial and Natural Resources Sector, co-ordinating the firm's efforts for this Sector in Canada. He serves both Canadian and international clients in board and C-suite recruitment, succession and broader leadership advisory work. Jon is based in Toronto. Previous Experience Jon has over 20 years of experience in board search, executive search and leadership assessment with a focus in the mining/metals, energy, infrastructure and other asset-intensive industries. He also has developed an expertise in the area of large-scale capital project leadership. Before joining the executive search profession, he was a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young Management Consultants in Toronto. Jon started his business career in the Corporate Development Office of Imasco Ltd. in Montreal. Education Jon received his B.A., with honours, from Huron College, The University of Western Ontario and his M.A. in international relations (international economics) from The Johns Hopkins University's Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
