Keith Anderson

Biography

  Keith Anderson is a member of Russell Reynolds Associates CEO and Board Succession Practice as well as the firm’s Industrial and Natural Resources Sector. His CEO & Board Succession work extends across industry sectors, while his executive recruiting activity has a particular focus on resource-based industrial businesses and companies with activities concentrated in mining, energy, forest products and agriculture. Keith has led a variety of important leadership and succession assignments for large-cap companies in the U.S., Canada and Europe, providing guidance to boards and chief executive officers about how to build exceptional leadership teams and mitigate risk of leadership failure. Keith is based in San Francisco. Previous Experience Keith has nearly 20 years of extensive global executive search and assessment experience, and balanced both sector and regional management responsibilities with his practice. Prior to his career in search and human capital advisory, Keith served as EVP and COO of International Forest Products, a Boston-based trading group with global offices and operations. Before that, he was with the privately held Simpson Paper Company in a variety of management positions, including Vice President and General Manager of the Fiber and International Division. Keith began his career with the Bendix Corporation in their manufacturing and distribution groups. Additional Professional Activities For a number of years, Keith has been an active advisor to the boards of regional non-profit organizations. Education Keith received his B.A. in economics from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. in marketing from the University of California, Berkeley.
